Alan is co-founder of Axiom Structures and is committed to creating high-quality structural designs which are elegant, highly practical and buildable. Along with a collaborative approach with the design team this has allowed him to build many long-term relationships with developers, architects and contractors throughout London.
Originally working for Cameron Taylor in London, Alan gained experience on large-scale commercial, medical and residential new build and refurbishment projects in the Marylebone area and around central London. He then moved to Pole Structural Engineers in Wimbledon, which allowed him to gain experience in high-end residential refurbishment and basement developments within confined, yet highly profitable spaces of Chelsea and Westminster. His last company was Bolton Priestley, where he worked on educational and residential buildings, before setting out to fulfil a life-long dream in co-founding Axiom Structures.
Alan likes to stay heavily involved in all his projects, from concept stage to finalising details, and enjoys being hands-on when the project moves to site to ensure that it progresses in a timely manner. He enjoys working with the team to solve problems and ensure that the design and construction of project are consistently being driven forward.
